BAME Network requests nominations for upcoming elections

We are pleased to announce that the PDA BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) Pharmacists' Network has grown substantially over the last few months. In the coming weeks, we will be running an election for BAME officers to lead the network.

PDA members working at LloydsPharmacy have been in contact to report a confusing message they recently received from a senior company representative about recognition of the PDA. The management message fails to address the issue of data breaches involving pharmacists' personal data

Boots pay claim update

The PDA has sent union members at Boots an update on the pharmacists' annual pay negotiations. As also detailed in a joint statement published with the company, the 2020 talks are being referred to ACAS in the hope they can help the employer and employee representatives reach an agreement.
