Risk assessments are crucial to reducing COVID-19 in the workplace

PDA urge employers and pharmacists to ensure that risks assessments are carried out in every workplace, for every pharmacist in every pharmacy setting. This comes after the PDA launched a Risk Assessment Toolkit to reduce the risk of COVID-19 in community pharmacies.

Deadline extension for NAWP nominations for upcoming officer elections

PDA comment on Wright review of PSNC

The PDA have welcomed the publication of the review by Professor David Wright of the PSNC as we have long recognised the need for these structures to be updated. PDA believe that the review and subsequent debate presents a significant opportunity for better representation of community pharmacy in England.

Concerns as community pharmacy fails to report cases of COVID-19 among employees

Community Pharmacy employers have not reported any cases of the COVID-19 infection amongst employees despite a regulatory requirement that they must report if there is reasonable evidence that someone diagnosed with COVID-19 was likely exposed because of their work.
