BREAKING NEWS: We can now reveal the Boots ballot results…

There were 6,890 pharmacists and pre-registration pharmacists in the “bargaining unit” at Boots, each was eligible to cast one vote. They were asked if they supported the end of a recognition agreement between Boots and the Boots Pharmacists Association. Ending that agreement would clear the way for PDA Union to be recognised.

Winners of the 2018 Welsh Pharmacy Awards revealed

The 2018 Welsh Pharmacy Awards took place at the Vale Resort in Glamorgan on the 24th May. The annual event honours the pharmacy sector’s emerging talent, as well as the service delivered by pharmacist’s year after year. This year’s ceremony marked the 10th anniversary of the awards.

Wider than Medicines

Boots ballot latest: Inaccurate data from Boots leads to an extension to the voting period

The PDA Union have successfully argued for an extension to the voting period for Boots pharmacists in order that more can participate in the ballot about who should represent them at work.

Official notice of ballot to derecognise the BPA
