PDA launches election 2024 manifesto

Health and social care are key features of the UK general election in 2024, with pharmacy and pharmacists being specifically mentioned in televised debates and political party manifesto pledges. The Pharmacists' Defence Association (PDA) has launched a manifesto with key asks of the next government to improve access to safe and effective NHS care for patients and support the vital pharmacist workforce.

PDA continues to assist members following changes to the Boots Pension Scheme

The PDA Union is continuing to assist members who are unhappy with changes to the Boots Pension Scheme. These changes were introduced as a consequence of the decision to transfer responsibility for paying benefits to Legal and General under a buy-in arrangement announced last year.
