PDA appoints new Head of Education

Changes to manager roles at Well Pharmacy

Well pharmacy have announced a proposal to remove all the non-pharmacist manager positions from their network of 760 pharmacies. The company want all pharmacies to be managed by pharmacists. The PDA are advising members employed in Well pharmacies to contact them for support if they have concerns.

Noel is now a provisionally registered pharmacist who will shortly begin working at Boots.

Your help needed to pass on an URGENT request for Lloyds pharmacists to pledge support for union recognition

All pharmacists at LloydsPharmacy have the opportunity to pledge their support for the profession to secure an independent voice at work through a trade union recognition agreement. Although we can contact those who are already our members directly, we need the help of our 31,000 members to help us get this message to those Lloyds pharmacists who have not yet joined the PDA.

PDA provide guidance for pharmacists at Lloyds

The PDA have produced some general guidance in response to the growing number of pharmacists asking them for assistance as a result of the LloydsPharmacy (Lloyds), so-called: “transformation and harmonisation programme”.
