First PDAU network in place at Boots

Following the recognition agreement signed by the PDA Union and Boots, the PDAU has now established a network of PDAU representatives to represent the circa 7,000 pharmacists and pre-registration trainees employed at the company.

Pharmacists concerned over employment implications of PCNs

An increasing number of primary care pharmacists are raising concerns about the way PCNs are being introduced and the impact it is having on their employment. The PDAU is encouraging members working in this field who are concerned to get in touch so they can receive appropriate advice for their situation.

The questions answered about apprenticeships have raised even more serious concerns

Following on from the loud and clear concerns expressed by 98% of 6000+ respondents to the initial proposals of a group of pharmacy employers to enable the creation of pharmacists by an apprenticeship route, the proposal is now going back to the drawing board.
